Thomas Haas - 83% Bold


A North Vancouver local, Thomas Haas Fine Pastries and Desserts first opened their doors in 2000.  Having one numerous awards over the years, Thomas comes from a long line of pastry chefs.  Originally from the Black Forest village of Aichhalden, Germany, Thomas first moved to Vancouver in 1995 as the Executive Pastry Chef at the Four Seasons Hotel.  In 1998, he moved to New City to become the Executive Pastry Chef at Daniel.  In 2000, Thomas and his wife moved back to Vancouver to fulfill their dream, "to be independent, have fun, and make people laugh and of course prepare the most delectable handcrafted chocolates and pastries imaginable."

Chuao Chocolateir (pronounced chew-WOW) is a fairly new company that was started up in 2002 by two Venezuelan born brothers, Master Chef Michael Antonorsi and his CEO brother Richard Anonorsi.

Now residing in San Diego California, Michael and Richard and pride themselves on pioneering "fusion chocolate".
